Turning & Milling Days: *NEW* Yet another good reason to opt for Multisensor Measuring Microscope WM1

29. September 2021

Now available with a fully integrated CNC rotation axis!

Dr. Heinrich  Schneider Messtechnik GmbH, a leading innovator in the field of production measurement technology with a proven track record of success spanning more than 75 years, is getting ready to showcase its huge wealth of expertise on the occasion of “Dreh- und Spantage Südwest” (Turning & Milling Days) to be held in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany, from 20 – 22 October 2021.
At our stand, we will present our measuring microscope WM1 300 CNC, which – apart from a touch-trigger probe and a laser sensor – now also features a fully integrated CNC axis.

“With the WM1 series, we can offer tailormade solutions that are flexibly adaptable to user needs. All machines in the series are the epitome of flexibility, also when it comes to meeting budget targets. The CNC-operated model of WM1 is available with our new measurement and analysis software SAPHIR smart that sets new standards in terms of intuitive use and functionality”, emphasises Uwe J. Keller, Marketing Director at Dr. Heinrich Schneider Messtechnik. “And if an even greater range of programming and analysis options is desired, the system can be upgraded to include 3D measurement software SAPHIR, version 7 of which has only just been released. The CNC-operated models of WM1 can optionally also be expanded into ‘small’ multisensor machines with 6-way touch-trigger probe TP200 and a laser sensor for dynamic height measurement. Their most recent high-performance feature is a fully integrated CNC rotation axis. By the way, either of the two software packages supports all equipment options of WM1.”
Boasting a measurement range of 300 x 200 x 200 mm (L x W x H), WM1 300 CNC plays to its special strengths when it comes to measuring stamped parts, plastic parts, rubber parts, milled parts, tools, profiles, printed circuit boards etc. The X-axis measurement range is optionally expandable to 400 and 500 mm. Of course, the measurement microscope can be seamlessly integrated into the manufacturing process.

And there’s even more to discover at our Turning & Milling Days stand:  You will have the opportunity to enjoy a live connection with our demo centre “Technikum” located in our Bad Kreuznach headquarters. And last but by no means least, we will present refurbishment solutions for in-house and third-party devices – an inexpensive yet greatly viable alternative to a new purchase. Would you like to know more about this valuable option? Then stop by at our stand and check out our retrofit of a Zeiss Vista machine – complete with our U-SOFT SOLID ultra software. As you will see, your old treasure, too, will be in the best of hands with us if you choose this option: We will check and upgrade your measuring machine to the state of the art – fast and reasonably priced!

The Milling & Turning Days provide an excellent opportunity to explore the vast range of optimised and customised high-precision solutions offered by Schneider!

We will be delighted to welcome you to our stand, where a reliable safety concept will be in place, and talk to you in person about whatever is on your mind in terms of measurement technology and quality assurance.
